Prof. Dr. Lokke Moerel

Lokke Moerel is wereldwijd expert in digitale technologieen & cyber. Door haar werk met de Amerikaanse tech giganten staat ze vooral bekend om haar expertise in big data en artificial intelligence. Lokke is hoogleraar Global ICT Law aan Tilburg University en Senior of Counsel bij het in technologie gespecialiseerde advocatenkantoor Morrison & Foerster (Brussel). Ze is lid van de Nederlandse Cyber Security Raad (het adviesorgaan van de Nederlandse regering over cyberveiligheid), en heeft diverse toezichthoudende functies. Lokke ontving diverse internationale prijzen, en werd in 2022 erkend door Global Data Review ‘Women in Data 2022’ “for being at the cutting edge of legislation, regulation and technology around the world”.

Lokke is Senior of Counsel with the global technology law firm Morrison & Foerster, professor of Global ICT at Tilburg University, member of the Dutch Cyber Security Council (the advisory body of the Dutch cabinet on cybersecurity), and member of the Monitoring Committee Dutch Corporate Governance Code.

Lokke received many international rewards, and recently was recognized by Global Data Review ‘Women in Data 2022’ for being at the cutting edge of legislation, regulation and technology around the world
